Almost Outta Here

Painting one bedroom and one bathroom proved to bring out our not-so-pleasant sides as we prep the house for our renter. We're movin' out on Friday and she's movin' in on Sunday.

Swiss Visa...Still Waiting

After the first wait of eight weeks, now ten weeks, we're looking at 12 weeks to wait for our Visa's to be approved. Some of us are starting to lose our minds with the waiting and delay. All of the initial excitement has faded into tedium and aggravation. While some of us are looking forward to change of scenery, if only two miles away, and a chance to feel some momentum.

You Can Go Home Again

So our digs for the next three months, as the transition continues to the land of chocolate and cheese is a condo, one block from Colin's old condo that he/we moved from almost five years ago. And we found out today that his friend, Jen, that had introduced him to the Cathedral Hill area more than 10 years ago, is back in town in her old condo, across the street from where we'll be living until spring. Cue Twilight Zone music.

One Hurdle Cleared.

Yay. We have an awesome renter for our beloved house. A single woman, professional with a small sheltie. Now where can we live for the next couple of months?
